The Shame!
This week received from our friends, Jen and Paul, not only a Christmas card (with a personal note inside) but also a thank you card.
Their baby is barely a month old.
Jakob is nearly three months old. In the last week, we've finally mailed our thank you cards, Christmas cards, and (most) birth announcements. Sometimes all in the same envelope.1
The thank you cards have been written out for ages, but I hadn't made it to the post office. The Christmas cards were delivered last week. The birth announcements arrived on Monday.
I just couldn't get it all together.
How the hell did I pull off a PhD?
1 If you are expecting any or all of the above and haven't received it by now, and still haven't received it after Canada Post clears its Christmas backlog, please forgive me. As you can see, I don't quite have it all together. Please feel free to yell at me by email.
