This really has nothing to do with babies or motherhood.
Why don't people read??
We're looking for someone to rent out our home. We were late getting the word out, and have had some replies, but several have come out of left field. For instance, one person offered to pay 2/3 of what we're asking1, for his "small family of 5"2. Someone else apparently didn't read that we're looking for someone to rent for a year (and minimum of 9 months) and wants to rent for just two. And the latest response, from someone describing herself as a professional, was littered with hideous 'chatspeak' ("Coz", "u", and "pix") and slang ("gonna"); the person also apparently didn't read the advert ("Is it furnished?") and wants to know what floor our condo is on and whether the building has a pool, lobby and gym.
Read, people!!
1 We are absolutely willing to lower the rent for someone we know and trust or is personally recommended by someone we know and trust.
2 What would he define as a big family??
