Back to the left coast
It was a pain schlepping the carseat through the airport, but it was well worth it to not have to hold Jakob all the way from one edge of the continent to the other. At YVR, we landed at a distant gate, one that is used for both domestic and international flights; one of the flight attendants took pity on me, and carried the carseat to the luggage carousel.
Werner was waiting for us. It was Father's Day, and I was so glad he was able to spend at least a bit of the day with our Bärchen.
