Three months!
And, of course, he continues to grow. This is good! Although I'm continually shocked at just how quickly he's growing. Yesterday evening I packed up still more clothes that no longer fit. In doing so, I found the little cat sleeper that he wore home - baggily - from the hospital. Already, I can scarcely believe he was ever so tiny!
He doesn't always sleep through to 5 am, but does so often enough to bring hope. I'm pretty sure he's been going through a growth spurt lately (one of my references, The Baby Owner's Manual, indicates that babies typically have a growth spurt at three months) as for a few days he napped quite often. It is getting easier to tell when he's sleepy and when he's in the mood to play (although both strike at sometimes unexpected times). We're also working on putting him down for the night a bit earlier; one of our other books, Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child, said that, in complete opposition to logic, babies who go to bed early tend to sleep longer and therefore later. Huhm. That makes no sense, but what do I know?
He's still in size 1 diapers (Pampers Swaddlers are the preferred brand/style), although I've bought a couple bags of size 2 since I think he'll be into those very soon. His clothes are, appropriately enough, size 3-6 months, generally speaking. (I've learnt that baby clothes sizes are about as consistent and logical as sizes for fully-grown women.)
It has been a month since he has been weighed, though. I'm eager to weigh him again when the mom/baby drop-in resumes. As a point of reference: when I pick up Phoebe (who was 5 kg at her last vet visit, earlier this month), she feels relatively light.

Wow, three months already! Thanks for sharing the clothing & diaper sizes--that's still one of my big mysteries. And I love the book The Baby's Owner Manual. It was a cute read.
