Two months old, and how do we celebrate?
(Mean parents that we are.)
I insisted that Werner come with me. This, I knew, I couldn't do alone.
Jakob was a trooper, I was a basket case. Werner had to hold the baby as he received two needles in each pudgy thigh.
It was awful!
Here he is, the next day, snuggled up to the bears.

Look how much he has grown in a month!

I'm so coldhearted when it comes to the immunizations when they're little. Doesn't worry me. When they're big, though, over a year, then I get worried, because they can see the needle coming and they remember the pain afterwards.
