Still without a dryer...

As we drove home, I wondered aloud, "What are the chances of being able to do baby laundry tonight?" My own answer? "Not a snowball's chance in hell."

When we got home from Movies for Mommies, I found the door to the laundry room in the vestibule, all the detergent, etc., at the bottom of the basement stairs, the washer and dryer not in precisely the right spot.

So, the electrician had been here, and bolted as soon as he finished the wiring. No testing. (Professional, eh?)

Sure enough, the damn thing doesn't work.

I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Our ridiculously expensive dryer and/or washer will yet be damaged by one of these lot...
