More stuff

After our wild weekend baby shopping spree, it seems time for an inventory update:

The baby monitor, selected by Werner. Now we can eavesdrop on our neighbours, and they on us:

A cupholder for the stroller. It costs slightly more than a third of a similar model at Crocodile:

The change pad, with two different covers (one yellow terrycloth, the other natural-coloured waffle-weave and terry). Fits nicely atop the simple dresser we bought:

Something for mommy! Ok, yes, it is still all about the baby (I wouldn't really have this if we weren't having a baby, afterall), but it is meant to make my life at least a little easier. Nursing pillow by Bosom Baby, in a super-soft purple cover:

Not so sure about this mattress pad. The mattress is protected with a nylon cover, so we don't really need a pad to protect it. But I can't imagine it would be comfortable to sleep on a nylon-covered mattress without a pad. I'm undecided. This pad, however, seems really bulky:

Crib sheets! White, yellow, and white with yellow stripes:

Sheets for the Bugaboo's bassinet. White with fishies (of course!), blue with white dots, and plain yellow:

Ducky sheets for the Pack & Play:

Sleeping bags for Bärchen. We've decided against using a blanket in the crib, and instead will use sleeping bags, which has apparently been the norm in Germany for a number of years now:

Receiving blankets, in purple with white dots, white with a print, yellow with white dots, and white with yellow stripes:

Two hooded towels, with matching washcloths (we also bought a package of washcloths):

Ah, a newborn hat and socks!

Five more newborn-sized diaper shirts. Two in plain white, the rest white with prints. One print is based on nursery rhymes, another has rocking horses and houses, and the third has barnyard animals:

Sleepers!

This sleeper is, well, quite simply, the cat's pyjamas:

This is sized too big for a newborn, but was just too cute to not get for later:

Also for later, a Winnie-the-Pooh sleeper and sleeping bag set:

PJs for later. Fleece 2-piece PJs with skating penguins, and a space-themed sleeper:

A close-up of the space design (sure to become a favourite of Werner's!):

And a pile of baby-related stuff: from nursing pads to Bugaboo accessories to the $4 slippers I bought at Ikea to wear while at the hospital:
