Timing is everything

Hm. Nearly two and a half years ago, I submitted a paper based on my post-doc work. I pretty much gave up on ever getting a response, and assumed the paper had more or less disappeared into the academic ether.

Seems that all I needed to do to get the referee's report was give birth. Yup, sure enough, the report was sent to me yesterday. Happily, only minor revisions are required (not even really a revise and re-submit!), as anything more would probably be impossible. I have three months to complete the revisions; how sad would it be if I cannot pull that off?
