The training wheels are off

We saw Dr L. again today. Jakob is feeding well (took about 94 mls while I nursed him in the exam room), so no more bottles, I must nurse him for every feeding. I can still pump once a day to build up a supply for the freezer, but other than that, no pumping.

While I definitely won't miss the milk machine, I will miss the relative freedom of having someone else help with the feeding, especially at night.

Nevertheless, the challenges and hard work over the last four weeks have paid off. Jakob and I have come to an agreement, apparently, and we're going to give this full-time breastfeeding a try.
