He's definitely a boy

Jakob's status as a boy has been confirmed. When we boarded the return ferry, we found an unoccupied row of seats so I could feed him. After feeding, I hoisted him up to my shoulder, as usual, to burp him.

Oh, boy.

Instead of one polite little burp, our growing bear let out two huge and noisy belches. The couple behind us had a good laugh, and I heard one say to the other, "That's gotta be tough to do with such little lungs."

Lucky for them it was just a belch, not an explosive spit-up situation.
