We went through every bit of clothing that we brought for the baby. I had my first true breastfeed-in-public experiences. We learnt that most of our favourite Victoria restaurants are not baby-appropriate (and too many shops - including, ironically, a
baby-related store that was on my priority list in my never-ending quest for a single comfortable and well-fitted nursing bra - have stairs and so are not stroller-friendly). We learnt that their are parents' rooms on the ferries, at least on the
Spirit-class ferries. I was glad I brought earplugs. We were reminded that Jakob operates on his own schedule, and that 6 am is not too early to get up to catch an 11 am ferry.
