Yikes! Tonight we're moving Jakob to his crib!!
We've got the audio monitor hooked on the wall, and the Angelcare monitor under the crib mattress. All thoroughly tested. (Could you really expect otherwise?)
I bet I'll be awake all night, listening to the monitor.... Fuel for my myriad neuroses, no doubt.
The good part? Werner and I will finally be back in the same room! He and the babe had decamped to the guest room, because I was getting NO sleep with the Jakob in my room. (Seriously. I even had to use earplugs when we were sharing a hotel room.)
What a way to round out the year and start a new one!
