He's his Papa's child

Everyone always tries to determine which parent (or other relative, for that matter) a baby most resembles physically. I find it interesting to see which personality traits and preferences Jakob has picked up from each of us.

Ever since he's really learnt how to roll around (and not get trapped face-down), he has enjoyed sleeping on his belly. Only when he is very very tired does he still willingly sleep on his back - and then only because he falls asleep before he has a chance to roll over. He sleeps with his arms curled up under his chest, just like his Papa.


And, just recently I was sitting on the floor, tapping away at my computer. Jakob had been happily playing with Poppy when he spotted the computer. Instantly, Jakob lost interest in everything but my laptop, and crawled over at top speed. His Papa will be so proud!
