Because today's appointment wasn't a scheduled, official prenatal appointment, I was surprised to have do do all the routine steps when I arrived at the clinic. In other words, when I checked in, the receptionist asked me to, ahem, provide a sample. "Oh? I didn't expect that and went before I left home. I hope I'll be able to", I replied.

Oh, right. A pregnant lady being unable to pee on command. What was I thinking?
