I have a longstanding pet peeve about hotels: when I stay in a hotel for two or more consecutive nights, it is effectively my home. It drives me bonkers when the housekeeping staff move things around, close curtains I've opened, etc. I've made myself at home, and I hate it when the housekeepers insist on 'resetting' the room.

This has always bugged me. But, travelling with Jakob just means having to be even more organised. For instance, I've set up a diaper change area on the bathroom counter. I've spread out the big change pad that came with the Lands' End bag Catherine sent, wipes, diapers, and diaper rash cream. I've set it up just as we need it.

And the housekeepers move stuff.

Aaagh!

Please, do not make this more difficult for me!!
